We have always heard that multi-tasking isn’t a great idea and you should always focus on first things first. Elders and experienced people believed in concentrating on one task completely and then shifting to the other task. But is it so bad?We have always heard that multi-tasking isn’t a great idea and you should always focus on first things first. Elders and experienced people believed in concentrating on one task completely and then shifting to the other task. But is it so bad?In today’s world where almost every one of us needs some extra hours in a day, isn’t multi-tasking a great thing for us? Let’s check the benefits of multi-tasking for our benefit:• Makes your work fasterIf you have a lot of to do lists and a lot of tasks at hand, you are in need of multi-tasking because it will allow you to cut down a lot of tasks together and you work faster. This however has a chance that you might make some errors on the way but sometimes that is acceptable. Every task at your hind might not need your complete attention and the tasks to be completed with recent deadlines can be multi tasked. With the more important work, you can surely take out special time and do that to your 100%. But if you can manage small mistakes, take the leap ahead and go for multi-tasking without a second talk.

 • Is a skill today In today’s changing world of technology, being a multi-tasker is seen as a great skill and recruiters will have a go head for you. The skill needs to be learnt in the competitive world where there is no time to stop. For any company, recruiting you would mean having two people at the same cost for them. So, start practising this skill if you want to have an edge over others.
• Need of the hour The technology is changing every day and we need to be updated about everything. Then we got to do the usual work routine as well. We need to do some of our personal things, then we take up some extra projects sometimes. Your work life demands that you do multiple projects at a time and so you need to speed up. You have deadlines to meet and so this is always the way out.

From this we learn that despite all we have heard, multi-tasking is always helpful. It might make you feel more baffled at one single point of time and you might feel the burden. But you will feel the relief when all of the task will be done at the right time. Multi-tasking has benefits because it makes you more efficient and increases your productivity.  This also instils in you a positive vibe about yourself having done so many jobs single handedly in less time. Your employer or boss or partners remain happy because they are receiving more outputs from you. Multi-tasking is a win win situation for you, it seems. So any other time you face a situation where you have lots to do, be a multi tasker and if you do not have that skill yet, learn that because yes it is beneficial in today’s world.
