Obesity - Deadly Virus Attacking Humankind

Date of Publish - Wednesday, 1st April 2020

Who doesn’t want to be healthy?

Who doesn’t want to remain fit and fine? Who doesn’t want a sleek body?

Of course, everyone does. But today’s time is a fast paced time and we don’t have time for ourselves. We have disturbed our sleeping and eating habits to such an extent that our body is now not accustomed to any specific routine and thus is deteriorating our health.

But the major issue that is actually quite disturbing and demands due and urgent attention is that of OBESITY. Yes, obesity means having layers and layers of fat on your body which is actually not a good thing, instead a very bad one for your health. Being obese not only makes you look un-appealing in physical but also harms your health as it makes you prone to lots and lots of diseases.

There are numerous reasons to obesity. Let us have a look at some of them:

1. Lack of exercise or physical work is the first and foremost reason which has resulted in the increased rate of obesity nowadays. We don’t indulge ourselves in any sort of physical work. Don’t exercise much. Keep sitting and sitting whole day long without moving an inch.

2. Exposure to junk and unhealthy food is again the second major reason behind obesity because if you’ll have fattening and junk food most of the time, then obviously it would not do anything good to your body.

3. Improper sleep can also be attributed to obesity because when you don’t sleep properly, you tend to indulge in binge eating which in turn will result in obesity. Moreover, improper sleeping pattern leads to disturbances in body hormones which make you eat at odd times when your body is not able to digest food and thus, again obesity. But it doesn’t mean that you cannot be fit and healthy again.

Just follow below steps towards a healthy life:

  1. Start exercising a bit. Get up a bit early and go for jogging. If you cannot really get up early, then inculcate exercises in your daily routine. Take stirs instead of elevator. Cycle instead of going by car. Don’t just sit; instead move here and there at regular intervals.

       2. Avoid junk and fattening food. Buy yourself a plate of fresh salad instead of that cheesy pizza or a huge burger.

       3. Make a sleeping pattern and try to follow it religiously. If you set your sleeping time 10 pm, then stick to it.                     Extend I only in extreme cases, else not.

Try to abide by the above stated rules and stick to them. Follow them religiously. If you can’t do physical work          separately inculcate some in your day to day routine so that you don’t have to put those extra efforts also and your work is also done. These small, small things actually make a huge difference. You are the one who is responsible for his or her health and can make it or break it.
